Open Tournament

On second thought guys, i wont be leaving town until sunday so if the tournament is an open one on saturday the 12th, and theres room on any boat or anyway i can take part in things i would love to join. Please let me know if anyone has room and what i would need to do to participate. Thanks again!

Welcome to the site and club. I am sure you can get a ride in somebodys boat for the open. I fish out of a jon boat and if you cant get a ride in one of those "Glitter Rockets", I will bring the jon boat.

We need to get you in some of the jon boat tournaments anyway .

You can print one of the waivers and fill it out and bring it or I will have some at the ramp.

I will be there with my boat Saturday, I also talked with a friend of mine last Saturday and he would like to fish, his name is Ricky and a non-boater, I told him I would call him if we had the boats. D-love is the Skiff ready?

Just to confirm, Ill be there saturday as a non-boater. I have a jon boat but it doesnt have a livewell, something im assuming yalls boats probably have. just thought id throw that out there...

Hey guys, Ill be there sat with the skiff. Talked to Jesse and I think he will be able to fish, not 100% sure yet though. Been out to Harris 3 times since last tourney, 1 fish it was a nice one though 21 inches 6lbs. water temp was 41.5 two fridays ago. Sunday went out to run the boat for a couple hrs water temp was 47+/- a degree or two.

I spoke with Ricky this morning and he wants to fish with me Saturday and meet all the guys, so I told him that was fine and I would see him Saturday morning. Do we need more boaters for Saturday or are we good so far? If something changes I will let ya'll know.

Hey guys im a little confused as to the exact directions to the launch for saturday. I looked up crosspoint rd on google maps and its giving me all kinds of confusing info. Is the launch on the western or eastern side of harris? also if i could have an address on crosspoint rd to plug into my gps that would be great as well as someone's phone # in case i get lost i would appreciate it. thanks

Hey Potter, that sure was a poorly looking minnow you brung to the scales . You pick that one up floating? It's a wonder a seagull aint done eat it!!!!!!
I wouldn't go around braggin' about beating me with that guppy. Lets just call it even being you snagged that one minnow in the side.

thanks to sammy for taking me on his boat and its too bad that chunk didnt count, nice to meet andy, riverrat, jr and everyone else. hopefully ill be able to join you guys on some other tournaments, namely the jonboat ones.

like i told sammy, thats the first time i been 70mph on the water and i wasnt half as scared as the flock of ducks we bout took out at one point
