Open Tournament

When does everyone want to do an open tournament? We have the weekend of January 15th or February 12th.

January sounds good to me or even February. I wish I new what the weather was going to be on them days then I could tell you for sure.

I agree with Mize to bad we don't know what the weather will be like.

But either day works for me too.

Harris on January 15th?? Need to get us a flyer out so we can get a good turn out like we did this year.

Hello everyone, hope everybody had a great christmas and happy new year! Havent been on the site in a while and i see its already time to go fishing again. Well I just stepped out of the deer woods and now that the seasons over my pet deer that have been eating all my expensive corn can safely return to their daytime patterns. ha, ha. Did get a nice 9 pointer though and figured it cost me around 150$ in corn, probably less than it cost me to go fish with tackle and gas. Well back to fishing and this upcoming open tourney. Skiff hasnt been started in a couple of months and Jesse still hasnt bought that 23 ranger hes been talking about, he'll probably be working also, so i guess i'll hold on to my Harris secrets till march.... unless someone needs a partner? Although I might try and get the skiff fired up and talk Jesse into taking a day off if comes down to it. -D Love

PS:Are we changing partners for the open tourney? and is anyone plan on going to the bass expo this weekend in Raleigh to spend that hard earned christmas bonus if its not already gone?

Hey buddy, haven't hear from you in a while, we were thinking of drawing teams in the open tournament, just the teams that were in the club last year put names in a hat and draw a partner, just need to know who is going to be there so we can get boaters and non boaters and have a partner for every body. Make it a little different anyway! I am going to try and go to the expo this Saturday even though I didn't get a Christmas bonus I still have yalls trophies too!

If you go give me a call, same to you Sammy because I would like and talk with some guides we have used in the past. Ok the tournament is getting close, Its going be cold We need to figure out who all is going to be there and who wants to be a boater or non boater?

Give me 3 lbs. and I will pay my entry fee and stay at home.

Give me 2 pounds and 15 ounces and I will take second place

Give me 4lb and I will drive to the Boat ramp. I can be ether just let me know.

Whats up guys, I would prefer to be a non boater if possible. Not sure if Jesse can fish yet and I dont know if the skiff will make it out of hibernation. Also just a thought but feb. is not that far away and would be better for me and my boat, either way i'll fish whenever ive got the bug already from looking at all that junk at the bass expo.

Just checked the weather for Saturday morning and it looks like it is going to be in the teens. So IF you guys really, really, I mean really need a non-boater just let me know and I will be there.

The Weather looks better for Sunday, just an idea. But I can be a boater, when we fish. Just let me know when to be there.

Whats the word Sammy. Jesse can't fish this weekend and it looks like my boat dosent wanna wake up from hibernation. Love to fish as a non boater on a bass boat for a change if given the chance. I'll do whatever just let me know what you decide about this weekend. Dlove

Spoke to Sammy last night and we are fishing Saturday. So come on D-Love we will put you on a bass boat. I think we will draw once we all get to the boat ramp. Not sure how many will show but we will have a good time.

I talked to Daniel last night, he will be there. It should be a fun tournament anyway

Looking forward to this weekend, it should be fun! Its anybodys game, talked to a buddy that is going to fish with us this weekend and he told me about a tourney last weekend at Harris with 15 boats. Winner had 1 fish 1 lb 15 oz, that was big fish also!! water temp was 37

Today was a tough day guys We will do it again February 12th, its gotta be better.

Ok guys tournament time is getting closer! Maybe the weather will be better and the fish will bite Does everyone want to fish with there partner or we gonna draw for this tournament?

We can keep it the same for now and change it Saturday morning if we have others show up. What do you think?
