So here are the rules that we came up with, but before we set them in stone we want everyone's opinion. We will post them on the site once everyone has agreed. If you don't like a rule or want another rule added, just post a reply and we can all decide on if to add it or delete it. Thanks!
NC Bass Hunters Rules
1. If there's NO Fish Caught, All money will go to the top three places at the end of the year. If there's (1) fish caught then winner takes all.
2. If there is a tie big fish will determine first place, if still tied next biggest fish
3. There will be a Five Fish limit per boat but you can have a Sixth Fish if you have one that needs a courtesy measurement to make your Five Fish.
4. All fish will be measured with a Golden Rule. If the ruler man says the fish does not measure then his word is final. DO NOT Argue with his call. There will be NO RE-MEASUREMENT!
5. Courtesy measurement must be asked for before fish are weighed. "One Per Boat "
6. One dead fish is allowed with a .50 pound penalty; however, there is a one pound deduction for EACH additional dead fish there after.
7. Artificial bait only, NO LIVE BAIT.
8. All live wells MUST BE checked before the tournament starts.
9. Weigh in time will be announced at each blast off. One pound will be deducted for each minute you’re late up to ten minutes. After ten minutes you will be disqualified.
10. Some lakes have barriers and NO boat is allowed behind them. Should a boat be caught behind the barriers that boat will be disqualified.
11. Catch and release unless you’re going to have the fish mounted or the fish is dead.
12. Use common courtesy, sportsmanlike conduct, and abide by all state and local laws.
13. You MUST sign a waiver to join the club. Fish at your own risk, Have fun and be safe.
If any of the above rules are broken you will be disqualified without question.
