In order to add events to the calender a fourm had to be created to hold them. So everything in the Calender folder is of events that are on the calender. They are all locked, meaning you can not reply to them, but can read them.

So 5 days prior to an event it will be displayed at the bottom of the homepage of the forum. Also you can click the calender link at the top of the page and view events on it.

Good job Potter. It would be nice if you had the address for each boat dock on there. It would be easy for everyone to find.

I added some directions and the GPS coords from nc wildlife. Couldn't find much on reece or michie, but added what I found.

But if there is anything else that would be helpful to add just let me know.

Askin the wrong person for that. You'll have to talk to the real fisherman for that information. Sad

    Here's the directions for Reece.

Go to Asheboro, take hwy 49 to you get to old 49. Go a fair little piece till you get to the sawmill, then take left. Go past the big tree to just before the creek, then take left. Go up the hill to the top, then stop.

Get out of your truck and check for ice. (not the yankee but the real stuff)
If no ice you can proceed to the ramp. Be sure to pay the ole hag at the shack before you launch or you will get a double barrell of lead.

Lock in the 4 wheel drive, then launch your boat. Keep in mind that the parking lot only has 3 spots. The overflow lot is back up the hill where you checked for ice. While you hike up to the overflow lot stay on the trail because the mountain lions love to attack out of breath and leg cramped fishermen. Check for Ice again, (not the slick stuff but the yankee). Dont want him to have a stroke or nothing Rolling Eyes
